Education Policy

Issues:

Overcrowding, not enough support staff, teachers underpaid, inequity in finances in schools nationwide, and extensive college debt. Exploitation of teachers as employees

Our Solutions:

Create laws that limit class size to 20 to 1 ratio, reopen community schools that get closed, reinvest in those community schools, increase teacher pay nationwide to meet inflation rates, and offer free college to all regardless of legal status. All of this shall be funded by reallocating the billions spent on war. Demand transparency in how materials and resources are budgeted to ensure teachers don't have to spend their hard earned money.
